Chassagne-Montrachet 2005, Gagnard-Delagrange

Light yellow colour. Faint nose offering hints of white flowers like hawthorn (aubepine in French) and acacia. Doesn't evolve much in the glass. Warm sensation in the palate, ripe peach fruit, full, potent and a good liquid marzipan finish. A classic Chassagne from a ripe vintage. The photo shows some flowers in the Montrachet vineyard taken in June 2007.
