Bourgogne blanc 2006, Capitain-Gagnerot

Light-medium yellow. Closed on the nose. Good clean lemon flavour. Decent weight with pear and white apple flesh on the palate. Fresh style. Tasty wine and a good indicator of the likely success of 2006 whites. Half aged in oak barrels and half aged in stainless steel tanks to preserve the fruit. Only one-sixth of barrels are new. Tasted at the domaine.
