Chablis Grand Cru "Valmur" 2003, Moreau Naudet
Tasted at the Forrester picnic in Regents Park. Medium yellow colour. First nose open with green gauge and peach. Evolves to a more buttery note. Fairly full and fruity on the palate. Pleasant and most quaffable without being spectacular. No sign of the typical racy acidity and minerality of Chablis Grand Cru. Aromas and structure fully mature so no point in hanging onto the sun-drenched 2003 whites.
