Gevrey-Chambertin 2003, Thierry Matrot
Another Nothing Hill wine from Kensington Place. Desgusted as a half-b ottle so all tasting notes must be referenced in the context of the Bevan-Chua scale to calibrate with full bottles and larger formats. Medium red cherry colour. Pleasant strawberry, raspberry and possible lavender aromas. Good balance and a pleasant drinkability on the palate. Nothing to write home about and nothing to complain about. A soft style typical of the vintage.
