Beaune 1er Cru “Les Teurons” 2017, Rossignol-Trapet

Tasted at the Corney & Barrow annual Burgundy tasting, this Beaune 1er Cru represents the floral and feminine aspects of the 2017 vintage. Initial nose of roses, raspberry and red cherry. Good berry fruit on the palate. Light bodied and a touch of nervosity. Enjoyable and well-made but for £32.92 there is a lot better value.
