Puligny 1er Cru "Les Perrières" 2004, Louis Carillon

Puligny from Louis Carillon is always opened with a sense of great expectation such is the reputation of the man. This Perrières 2004 is a light golden colour. Thick melon, lemon and ripe apple aromas that tread a fine line between ripe green and tangy yellow fruits. Sheer class shines through its deep minerality, rich lemony texture, upper class spine of acidity and phenomenal concentration. This benchmark Puligny 1er cru is far, far away from revealing its full personality. Wait until 2012. The photo shows the first chardonnay vine bud in Puligny on April 12, 2009.
