Le Montrachet Grand Cru 2007, Marquis de Laguiche

Courtesy of the Justerini & Brooks Burgundy 2007 tasting. This wine requires no introduction. A waterfall of yellow and white flesh fruit aromas with stunning richness. Perfect continuity into a ripe, awesomely concentrated, multi-layered wine that obscures a pure mineral elegance. A pleasure to taste now but obviously infanticide for a wine that needs at least 10 years to express its complexity. The photo shows Le Montrachet vineyard in June 2007.
