Meursault "Les Tillets" 2006, Patrick Javillier
Javillier wines ooze style and substance. The domaine was one of the stand-out producers at the annual Burgundy tastings in London in Jannuary. So it was a pleasure to try this Meursault 2006 at the excellent Restaurant Charles Livon in Marseille. This wine has immediate olfactory impact: creamy, yellow fruits, ripe depth and a seductive style. Power and glory on the palate which makes it ideal for lobster, scallops and fish in a cream sauce. Further confirmation of this domaine's quality.
