The photo shows the Vosne vineyards in September 2007 a few days after the pinot harvest finished. Tasted at the domaine this Vosne had a good cherry colour. On the nose, floral, red berry fruit, ripe strawberry and vanilla. Palate dominated by "fat" strawberries creating a wine with wonderful width of flavour and continuity after imbibing. Acidity is pushed into the background but the style is still elegant. Finishes on rounded tannins. Very appealing already but in 2 more years will offer a broader range of aromas and fruit will integrate with the oak tannins.
