Santenay 1er Cru "Beaurepaire" 2005, Mestre Pere & Fils

This is a white Santenay. Clear hay colour, grapefruit, lemon and lemon sponge cake. Cox's apple and lime flavours, lively, good body, rounded, thick citrus fruit and fairly gentle acidity. Pleasant wine and good quality for a white Santenay which is better known for its reds. Tasted at the domaine.
